As you might aware, I am one of the oldest employee in this hotel and seen the hotel rising from two star to five star. This gives me a sense of satisfaction and feels privilege to be part of this adventures journey. In recent times, different problems surfaced and I would like to bring into your notice.
First of all, in last six month, attrition of employee at middle level has become very high, resulting, severe resource crunch in operation department. I recently heard that one customer clearly noticed it and mentioned in the feedback. Besides, we only offer limited styles of food at our restaurant which sometime does not meet the expectation of customer. In comparison to our hotel, others hotel in vicinity offers five time more varieties in break-fast and full course meal.
I believe that if these issues are continued then it may impact the hotel’s reputation. Therefore I recommend that employee at all levels require motivation and team building session. This will help the co-ordination among departments. For Food area, more chefs may be hired or existing chefs should be asked to get hands-on on international cousins that will help to achieve customers liking in food and beverage section.
I am sure this issues and recommendations will give some insight and help to resolve issues.
