Dear Sir, I am writing this letter to express my grievances with regard to my accommodation and its poor living conditions. I am a first-year student from the Arts department and have been an occupant at the girls' hostels since the past 3 months. I would like to bring to your notice the inconvenience caused due to unsatisfactory services of the college housing facilities. Frequent power cuts have made it difficult to work on computers, especially with assignment submissions to for next week. Moreover, it has become increasing claustrophobic, to work in a dark, humid environment. Additionally, poor hygiene of the toilet area and the common corridor is always stinking and this odor follows unto my room. Furthermore, my roommate prefers studying late night and is habituated to reading aloud. This again is a hindrance in my sleep schedule. Lack of rest and proper sleep often leaves me feeling exhausted. I expect you to kindly assign to me an apartment at the building across the road. I am struggling with my daily routine and find these extenuating circumstances extremely stressful. I hope you understand the emergency of the situation and do the needful at the earliest. Yours sincerely, Kathy
