For your information, I am writing today to elucidate, that is, to explain clearly the findings of my investigation about the rise in complaints on our reception.
Findings: the receptionists were not able to deal with higher volumes of telephone calls as they were pre-occupied with customers, visitors were asking too many questions which consumed our time and lack of seating arrangement for all of them which upset them more due to their prolonged standing sometimes.
This help desk operates 24/7 and plays a pivotal role, meaning, it helps in guiding the customers to the right department and floors as we work in a multi storied building. Without this, our sales might drop as customers are impatient and tired to walk in our business center by their own to find the right person to meet.
I have a nostrum, which means, I am advising you to train them to do multi tasking; but, they are reluctant to stay back after their working hours for training. So, I suggest we pay for the extra hours to motivate them to stay back for the mentoring sessions. Finally, move this counter to the lounge area where there is adequate seating availability for everyone.
