Dear Sir or Madame,
I am writing to complain about the poor service provided by your transport company.
I live in a South-West block of Springfield. Since a new mayor had been elected two months ago, the work of public transport has become questionable. Firstly, the number of buses that operate in my area has decreased from fifty to twenty; thus, bus stops are always full of commuters. In addition, a novel schedule has been introduced that shits time of the departure of the first passenger vehicle from 6: 30 to 7: 30.
Although those changes may appear to be insignificant they have a devastating impact on the well-being of local dwellers. Primarily, bus stops are always overcrowded and people have to queue for hours to get to their destination. Moreover, the buses are always out of schedule and it has become not reliable as well. Thus, it is difficult to use it. Finally, the new schedule turned lives of many into a nightmare because the majority of those who live in my block works in a Steel Plant and their working day starts at 7: 30; They used to travel of the first bus but nowadays it has become impossible because when it arrived at our district it is already too late.
Those problems and their consequences may be addressed through several actions. Increasing number of buses or using vehicles that can get on board more commuters or introducing alternative means of transportation will make work of public transportation more convenient. Furthermore, returning to the old schedule will surely alleviate lives of Steel Plant' s employees who live in my district. And punishing bus drivers for violating a schedule will make buses reliable again.
Sincerely yours,
Eugene Dubinchuk.
