The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.
The maps illustrate changes made to the road access to a city hospital in two years, 2007 and 2010. In general, it is obvious that there were more constructed added for public transport and an additional way to reach the hospital was also added. The city hospital was surrounded by a circular road named King Road. In 2007, the tree-lined Hospital Road was the only viable road to get to the hospital through the south end. Directly to the east of this street was the car park for both the staff and public usage. In addition, there was a separated bus stop to the east of the entire area. After 3 years, a remarkable transformation took place. The Hospital Road was cleared of trees and two roundabouts were put at its junctions with Ring Road and City Road. The car park to the east was also made available for only staff, as new public parking space was opened right to the east to the hospital. The bus station was located to the west of Hospital Road and could be accessed via turnings at both roundabouts on Hospital Road. Another roundabout was also installed far away from the area and to the southeast of the hospital.
