While many scientists warrant of the imminent danger of global warming on human existence, people are not shifting to eco-friendly lifestyle. This essay will discuss the reasons of this problem as well as the actions that can be taken to deal with. There are various issues associated with this trend, the main reason why people are maintaining the same way of life instead of adapting new habits to protect the environment, themselves and the next generations is because of convenience factors. For example, people tend to prefer using their private automobile rather than commuting by public transportation, which in most countries are not developed sufficiently. Moreover, since the industrial revolution, human’s norms has completely changed due to the enormous offers and the high incomes; as a result, the consuming behaviors altered, people’s desire for spending increased and they become more materialistic. In short, convenience aspects and salary raise avoided humans to change their lifestyle. While the problem may seem intractable, there are various solutions available. Governments around the world, should establish restrict regulation and litigation to mitigate the environmental detriment by citizens and industrial sector. Moreover, incentives such as declining taxes, could be a beneficial strategy to encourage companies and organizations to reduce waste and pollution. In addition, educational plan in schools, which includes concentration classes will increase awareness and connection to the plant and environment, and undoubtedly will lead to a better future.
