The internet has greatly increased our access to information. v. 10
The Internet plays an indispensable role in our daily lives today. It gives us unlimited access to information and enables us to find out whatever we desire. In my opinion, this has a plethora of advantages to humans and is certainly a good thing. The way the Internet has shaped our lives nowadays is undeniable because of the information it allows us to access. Take Google for example. It is one of the world’s most superior search engines. Whatever information people need to know, all they have to do is type a few words into the engine’s search bar and it gives them an enormous number of online articles to choose from and read their content. Despite the fact that some of these articles might be inauthentic, most adults nowadays can discriminate between sources and can find reliable articles that meticulously describe whatever topic they are interested in. Moreover, widespread access to information is especially beneficial to students and researchers. Sometimes looking for a certain book in the local library can be a frustrating task. Many students prefer finding books online, be them free or paid, to save time and effort, instead of visiting multiple libraries and bookshops to look for the books they desire. For instance, researchers who study in remote universities find the Internet their most useful source since it enables them to find a variety of scientific journals and magazines. To recapitulate, the way the Internet allows us to obtain any information from all over the world is definitely valuable to almost everyone. I personally think that all individuals benefit from having the ability and power to learn about anything they need at any time wherever they are.
