I wish you are pink at your health. I am writing this letter in order to seek your support in collecting a fund of Rupees One lac for the old age home where I am giving my service as a volunteer since last two years.
Actually, " sandhya-kutir" old age home has 120 senior citizens under its shelter. Here, They reside and perform many functions that may not only interest them but help to utilize their free time in a productive manner. These functions include painting, crafting, gardening etc. Now, the trust who is running this facility wants to set up a small workshop for these people
where they can do a production of different types of artifacts and earn their livelihood to be independent. Hence, we are in need of some fund mentioned above to buy instruments and machines for the production.
As I understand, You are working as an HR manager in one of the leading retail organization where you might have some provision of donation under corporate social responsibility budget for this kind of charity. We do not want the fund totally in charity as we want these people to be independent, we would be happy to make a beautiful artifact for the cabin of CMD and for a foyer of the company at an entrance, in exchange for the donated amount. I would request you to take our proposal forward to your management as well as to the employees so that whoever will be interested in contributing can come forward and contact us.
