Two images are shown which shows the Islip town centre at present and the other is the planned development or the same. Write description by selecting relevant features and make comparisons where necessary. v. 2
The two images describe the maps of Islip town centre at present and the planning of development of the town centre. A row of number of shops are built at both the sides of the main road. The northern region of the main road is the countryside. The road from western part gets diverged into two parts, one is the main road and other ends at the school. Accomodation for living in a house is provided at north and south after the end of the road. A huge park is constructed besides housing from which the road gets combined with the main road. The planned development of the town centre has various facilities surrounded by a road. Bus station, shopping centre and car park are together in a row. A space for pedestrians only was constructed at the southern part of the row. The two rows of shops at present are reduced to only one row of shop at the centre of the town. Dual carraigeaway facility has been added at western side of the plan. New housing facility along with housing accomodation is provided at left hand side of the park and besides the row of car parking. The size of the park is substantially decreased than the one at present. Overall, the planned development of Islip town centre has more commercial facilities compared to the town at present.
