The table shows that number of children born to women aged 40-44 in Australia from 1981, 1986, 1996 and 2006. Overall, majority of women in Australia had Two Children in the given periods. There were merely different between Three Children and Four or More Children. Also, proportion of women had only one child and None were the least. It is evident that, in the given periods, women in Australia had Two Children with 29%, 35% 38. 2% and 38. 3%, respectively. In term of Three Children, there was a decline from 1981 to 2006 with 27. 4% to 21. 5%. Similarity, Australian women who had Four or more children had a significant fell from 27. 6% to 11%. Moreover, number of children ever born of Four or more children were significant dropped from 1981 to 2006 with 27. 6% to 11%. On the other hands, the trends of None and One child were increased. The proportion of One Child was 7. 6% while 8. 5% for None. Furthermore, the average of None and One child were increased merely 1% after 5 years while the proportion of Four or more Children was declined approximately 9%.
