The bar chart compares to the proportion of city and country side residence with had a web-enabled in a European region from 1999 to 2004. Overall, it is clearly seen that, the highest percentage of households which had internet access was urban area during the period. In addition to the that, people living in provinces had a web-enabled increased until the whole years. In the beginning of the time slot, (in 1999) while approximately 15% civic had an internet access. In 2000, the per cent of accessing of internet in town remained twice as high as in 1999 with 30%. Despite the dramatic rose in the last 3 years, the number of users increased significantly until the 2004. On the other hand, less than 3% rural used internet in 1999. Over the next 5 years, internet access in rural families continued to increase considerably. Between 2000 and 2004, the proportion of rural users grew from almost 5% to nearly 35%.
