The line below illustrates information about trips in-and-out the UK during 20 years period between 1979 and 1999, and bar chart reveals the most famous parts of the world by British people. In general, in first 7 years, the difference between the number of visitors to and from the UK is not high, however in the rest of period, it increased considerably. By the way Spain and France were the most popular lands visited by UK inhabitants. Looking at details, in 1979 the number of travellers in and out was 10 and approximately 12 millions respectively. And up to 1986, both line showed nearly the similar growth rates. However, then the quantity of UK residents travelling abroad went up substantially, with increasing from 20 to 52 millions, whereas the number of visitors to the UK by overseas residents showed a gradual rise, with climbing from about 13 to 27 millions. In addition, Spain and France were the most well-known countries visited by British people in 1999, with 9 and 11 millions of UK visitors respectively. Other countries: USA, Greece and Turkey were not so famous as former countries since latters were around 2-4 millions of UK residents.
