The charts illustrate the proportion of the forest of the world and the amount of timber in five diverse regions. The first pie chart gives out data about the percentage of world forest in five varied areas. North America makes up one fourth of the total world’s forest, stands behind Africa with 2% lesser. The figure for Europe, South America and Asia witnesses a stabilization around 20% with 18%, 16% and 14% correspondingly. However, the data for the percentage of timber in each region demonstrates differs from its figure for the world’s forest. Africa experiences a dramatic divergence from its above data with nearly one tenth of the total field. And North America reaches 1st position in the number of timber with 30%. Three remaining sectors remains its maintenance with little variation, from 18% to 23% of Asia, Europe and South America. It is conspicuous that regions with high percentage of forest customarily goes along with high data for the timber in each places, apart from Africa.
