The chart below indicates changes in the amount of time spent in three diferent telephone call over 7 years from 1995 to 2002. In terms of local – fixed line, in 1995, local – fixed line telephone call had the most popupar call in the UK, with around 72 billion minutes spent. This rate witnessed a significant rose and reached a peak of 90 billions minnute in 1990 before falling sharply to around 72 billion minnutes in the last year to become the highest of all. When it comes to Mobiles phone call and National and international – fixed line. There were a up ward trend of the number of time spending in the UK. At the start of the period, around 38 billion minnutes of National and international – fixedline was spent. This figure increased steadily to 60 billion minnutes to become the second highest of all in 2002. While standing at much lower, the number of time of mobiles phone using was around 2 minnute (billions) in 1995. This rate grew gradually to around 46 minnute (billions) in the next 7 years.
