Overall, It is clear that the proportion of Americans ate in fast food restaurants from 2003 to 2006 experienced an upward trend, while there was a downward trend in the figure for people ate in these restaurants in the USA between 2006 and 2013. We can also see the majority of the eating at fast food established of Americans were once a week or once or twice a month in all three years. In three years, more than a quarter of Americans ate in fast food outlets once and four a month. About 10 to 20% of Americans ate in these outlets several times a week and a few times a year, while 3 to 4% of people ate in these outlets daily, and less than 5% of people avoided fast food outlets. Over ten years, the proportion of people ate fast food outlets once and several times a week, and a few times a year rose by approximately 3%. In contrast, this figure for people ate once or twice a month decreased by 5% from 30% to 25%.
