Overall, it is clear that, except Qatar, the production of oil in other countries increased and Saudi Arabia was the coutries having the highest oil production capacity. In 1990, Saudi Arabia produced the largest amount of oil, at 8. 5 million of barrels per day, three time higher than Iran, which only produced 3 million barrels per day. Followed by Iran were the UAE, Iraq, Kuwait, which accounted for 2. 5, 2 and 1. 8 million of barrels per day, respectively. The lowest oil production was belong to Qatar, at only 0. 5 million of barrels per day. After 20 years, the oil production of 5 countries tended to increase. Saudi Arabia witnessed the biggest increase to 15 million of barriels per day. The oil made by Iran, Iraq and Kuwait all rose up by around 2 million of barrels per day through 20 years. The oil production in the UAE stayed at 2. 5 million of barrels in 2000 but then also increased to nearly 4 million of barriels per day in 2000. The capacity to produce oil in Qatar rose unremarkably in 2005 and finally fell to approximately 0. 5 million of barrels per day at the end of period.
