The line graph given below illustrates the intake of fish and some kinds of meat in a country of Europe between 1979 and 2004. People consumed beef more than other type of meats described. The consumption of Fish was the least among all items in early 1980' s. Overall, the consumption of different types of meat has decreased from 1979 to 2004, except Chicken consumption which rose gradually during the years. The consumption of fish, however, remained relatively stable during the 25 years. The amount of Chicken consumed by a person per week has risen steadily. It was just less than 150 grams/ week in 1979. Over time it rose to around 250 grams/week in 2004. Beef and lamb both were consumed in large quantities of 150 grams/week and above in early 1980' s. Their consumption has decreased to around 150 grams/week or less in 2004. The consumption of fish however remained most stable or to be precise, it has decreased around grams/week from 60 grams to 50 grams/week for an individual during the past quarter of century.
