Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. with this statement? v. 33
It is a controversial issue that the government should finance train tracks instead of spending its budget on roads. I would actively see eye to eye with this statement as spending on railways able to fully utilize the citizens' taxes. First of all, the advent of technology has brought tremendous benefits to human life in this day and age. The government should spend money on using advanced technology on the train. For example, using the latest technology on the railway is convenient for the citizens as it reduces the travel time to traverse around the city as well as cost-effective. Furthermore, a high-speed train can reduce traffic congestion, improve mobility and reliability of travel on the roads. For instance, ambulances and firefighters can increase their throughput across their service during an emergency. Besides, saving the Earth by reducing air pollution is one of the benefits of building a subway. To illustrate, when people are keen on taking trains to travel, it can reduce the carbon monoxide emissions from cars. Carbon monoxide emissions can facilitate global warming to our Mother Earth. Due to air pollution, it can reduce the life expectancy of people as the toxic air quality endangers our health. Moreover, spending citizen' s taxes on railways can cut down the percentage of accidents happen on the road. For example, according to the news, traffic accidents have been increasing year by year as the enhancement of using automobiles. Therefore, taking trains can increase the possibility of life expectancy and life satisfaction of the public. In conclusion, with all the new advances and innovations in this modern era, the government should choose the smart expenditure to maintain a safe and healthy life for the citizens.
