Dear Mr. Johnson, I am writing to you in response to your letter regarding the rental increment. I have a few concerns and let me explain them. I have stayed in this house for the past seven years and been a good tenant paying you the rent sharply before the due dates. Moreover, I take good care of sanitation, clean and good repair of the rental unit. As per the council of housing, based on the housing measures and locality, the rent which I am paying now is exclusively high. In such a case, increasing the rent will be intolerable and it will be against the tenant law. Furthermore, if you demand high rent I don' t have any option rather than vacating the house. Because, the house as only one bedroom, a kitchen and it was far away from the city centre. For such a place the money you demanding was too pricey. Being a generous person, I hope you would understand the concerns and practical possibilities in it. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Valli
