Dear Mr. Bhatt, I am writing this letter to tell you that I can not attend your farewell on Wednesday of the upcoming week. Yesterday, my mother was cleaning the ceiling fan of the kitchen and she fell down as she failed to balance herself on the ladder. I took he to the hospital and she got fracture in her right left ankle. The plaster is for 20 days and till that she will have to take complete bed rest. My father is out of the country for his business purpose and my sister in studying in different city away from the home. So, I am the only person left in the house to take care of my mother. Therefore, I will not able to bid you goodbye at your farewell party. We have worked together for 3 years and it was a great experience to work under your assistance as you were my senior. I have learnt a lot about the professional etiquette and it has improved me to become a better person at work. And also the style of your work is remarkable.
