Dear Mr. David, I am writing to inform you about my recent loss. I boarded a taxi at your Maryland terminus, on the 15th of April, 2019 and I mistakenly left my travelling documents onboard. It was actually a brown envelope which contains, an International passport, e-ticket and some other travel-related documents. Needless to say, these papers are very crucial to me because I am supposed to travel to Belgium for an important conference, on the 20th of April, 2019. This meeting is very imperative to my promotion at work and it is a life-time opportunity which I cannot afford to miss. To start with, help me check with the taxi driver who was on duty on the said date and confirm if he has by any chance kept the documents for me or turned it in at the " Lost and Found" section.
