Respected Sir I am xyz student of commerce department of you college. i am writing this letter to feel apology for the book I have taken from department library. Last week, a book on basis of commerce I borrowed from library. as per the rules of library, book has to be returned or renew within 5days. but due to my relative illness I have to go home urgently as there is need of two persons. and she is also one of my close friend. unfortunately I forgot to told roommate to return the book. So, on the behalf of this. I request you to please extend the date of return by two weeks because I have to make some notes from the book. As soon as i returned from there and after completing the notes I return it to library. I am willing to pay the fine as involved. I am looking forward response from your side. Yours faithfully XyZ
