I must admit, it is one of the finest and creative technical projects that is doing wonders in my country, ever since its launch last month. Being an engineering student, I understand your sheer interest in this new development and would like to answer your queries accordingly. Thomas Evary is a young boy aged 27 who decided to build a two wheeled bike that completely operates by energy generated via water. He published his draft idea in his final year project, but the practical execution took 3 years to complete. I must admit that’s rather short period for such an innovative invention. General public in my country demonstrated keen interest in Wike because it is extremely cost efficient and pollution free. It neither emits carbon monoxide nor any other harmful gasses that pollutes the air. Thomas is being offered $200, 000 USD to sell his idea to an automotive company in Germany, so they can manufacture these bikes at a commercial level and make it readily available to people across the globe. They have also promised to keep the selling price lower than expected as a gesture to promote their corporate social responsibility towards global warming and climate change. In my opinion, I think it is a great initiative and even better technological development. We as engineering students can take ideas from this project and come up with something similar yet unique, such as a Solar Runner Bike.
