There are several constraints for getting admissions into educational institutes for both higher- and lower-class students of the community. I completely disaccord with this statement as most of the students are facilitated with subsidy or scholarships and moreover, plenty of schools or colleges are established across the corners for the ease and convenience of the youths.
To begin with, educational institutes are providing scholarships to encourage all kind of students to continue their higher education. That is to say that students are less burdened with tuition fees. As a result, this keeps them motivated to study further irrespective of their family background and financial support. According to a recent survey, the increased literacy rate among youths in the Srilanka is because of the subsidized tuition fees provided by all the educational institutes. This has attracted several students to continue their higher education smoothly without many constraints.
Besides, several colleges are established in and across the cities for the ease of the students. This has provided options to join the colleges as per the convenience of their commute, time and standards. For instance, the Indian government and private institutes have managed to establish a minimum of 15 educational institutes for every district that will suffice the requirement of all the students. The demand for the schools is in proportionate with the students of the community.
In conclusion, modern society with government support has eased the admission and availability of seats at several schools and colleges for every student irrespective of their social and financial status of their family.
