The given line graph illustrates recycling rate of plastics, paper, aluminium cans and glass containers during 1982 to 2010. It is clear that recycling parentage for aluminium cans experienced significant increase, However plastics graph remained fairly stable with negligible growth, furthermore other trends saw fluctuations over 28 year period. In 1982, recycling rate for paper and glass containers were 65% and 50% respectively, while recycling aluminium cans started from 1986 and saw considerable growth after 24 years to over than 40% in 2010. However recycling plastics begun from 1990 and rose at negligible trend for the next years at approximately 9%. Moreover major materials in recycling industry followed different patterns after remarkable decline in 1990, level of recycling for paper fell slightly to 70%, in other hand numbers of glass containers rose considerably to 60% in 2010
