Overall, an increase can be seen in the total value of imported fish in the period of 12 years. Also, the primary source of fish imported to the US came from China and Canada in shown time. As is observed from the graph that in 1988 the total value of imported fish gained 6. 57 billions of dollars. In the following 4 years, this figure had risen considerably to reach 8. 52 billions of dollars. Additionally, this tendency proceeded in the period of next 8 years, 10. 72 billions of dollars was the total value that was spent on to import fish. It is interesting to note in 1988 that 60% of the quality of imported fish was from Canada. However, this proportion was only halve in 2000, at approximately 28%. Regarding contribution of china, this nation provided 13% in total but had an upsurge in 2000, with the figure reaching 30%. The percentage of others showed a rise remarkably, climbing from 27% in 1998 to 46% in 1992. Subsequently, the period of 1992 to 2000 witnessed a slightly decline and stood at 42% in the share.
