The line diagram gives information about the visits to and from the UK over two decades, and the bar diagram illustrates the most popular countries visited by UK residents in 1999. At a glance, there is a gradual increase in the number of visitors, UK residents and overseas residents, travelling to and from the UK. Looking in the line graph, the visitors, citizens of UK and abroad residents, have reached summits in 1999 while the nadir points of both was in 1979. The zenith of the abroad visits by UK residents was approximately 55 million which differs from overseas travelers to UK significantly by around 30 million. The bar diagram projects the information that UK residents, travelling to abroad, have travelled more to the France (around 11 million) followed by the next popular country: Spain (around 9 million). Although there were less number of visitors from UK who visited USA and Greece, least visited to Turkey in 1999 (approximately 2 million).
