Dear Mr and Mrs Arthur, Greetings for the day! I am writing this letter to seek apology from you as i may not be able to attend the party at your home on the occasion of your son, Richard's birthday next Saturday. Because of the prescheduled plan of receiving my uncle and aunt from the airport, deters me to attend the party. At the onset, I would like to thank you for the invitation of the birthday party. I am glad as well as honoured to receive the invitation from you. Also, this was a great opportunity to get closer with you and your family in order to expand our relation with each other. Further, since i have to receive my uncle and aunt from The Toronto Airport on Saturday evening, i cannot attend the party. They are coming from Italy by the flight number- CA0278 and the flight is expected to arrive at 7. 30 pm. Along with that, they want me to ride them to the house safely because they are coming to Toronto for the first time. Therefore, there is no other way to alter the plan.
