You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. Your neighbours have recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house/ flat. Write a letter to your neighbours. In your letter explain the reasons for the noise apologise describe what action you will take You should write at least 150 words.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter to seek information on the construction of a shopping complex which is planned to be built adjacent to my residence. I have a few concerns, which I initially discussed with our neighbor and thought it should be shared with you. It was a surprise for me when I first heard about the construction of the building from my neighbor and later read an advertisement board down the street. It obviously is a good plan of developing a shopping complex and making the area more commercial. It will offer ease of access to buy any kind of grocery and other urgent requirements. With multiple benefits of having a complex nearby, I am also concerned about the traffic congestion that it will lead to. The residential roads are itself narrow, and the road is wide enough to accommodate two cars. As a curious inhabitant, I would like to know that by when we are expecting the commencement of the commercial complex. Additionally, will the shopping space be confined to brands of apparels or electronic gadgets or will the mall have hyper city or supermarket catering to daily needs. Last but not the least, during the construction phase will there be any road closures or route diversions. I look forward to your reply. Yours faithfully, Harshil Shah
