You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter describe the situation explain your problems and why it is difficult to work say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this email to formally complain about my current accommodation. I am finding it really hard to work in my room because I am sharing it with another student. I am a research student currently in my final year and as you can imagine I have lots of research assignments that sometimes extends into the night. My current roommate is a first year student and is only adjusting to the excitement of the freedom that college brings. She is always hosting parties and having friends over which creates a hostile environment for me to do my studies. I have reached out to her severally regarding the situation but the same happens over and over again. This arrangement is costing me because I am always running behind on my assignments and research projects. I would like to request that you find me another roommate who is at least in the same year of study as I am to avoid the conflict of schedules and interests as it is currently. Thanking you in advance for your help with this situation and finding me a new roommate. Yours Sincerely, Sarah Mumbi
