Dear Anne, I heard a heart breakings news from our friends that your dog Minty has passed away last week. My sincere condolences as I know that minty had been with you since you were young. I know it’s tough to lose her as she was also part of your family, and you must be missing her terribly. I still remember the first time I met her at your house. Unlike other dogs, Minty is very friendly and sweet to everyone. She never barked at anyone and she always wagged her tail for us to play with her. You know that I am afraid of dogs, but Minty is the only animal that I can carry and play with without the fear of getting bite. I will greatly miss her too, but I am consoled by the fact that she is now in a better place. As your friend, it saddens me to know that you are very down and I know to do something to cheer you up. There is an animal shelter near my place and I would like to invite you to come with me this weekend. Perhaps, you might want to try to foster some of the rescued dogs in the shelter. It may not bring Minty back, but I’m sure Minty will be happy if she knows that you are taking care of other animals too. Again, my sincere condolences, and I will always include Minty to my prayers.
