If you will be able to drive then, you will no longer have to depend on public transportation which is going to save a lot of time for you. I would like to recommend you to join a driving school. There is a driving school named A-star driving school in your area and I have heard from my friends that they very good instructors. They also have special course for beginners for $450. I think this would be really great for you. Also, you should start reading the driving rules book as this will help you get familiar with the road signs and other rules.
