The day after your party I have a business meeting in Paris, which was initially scheduled for that afternoon. So my plan was to catch an early morning train to Paris. However, a week ago the meeting was moved forward to 9 am. This means I have to go there on the night of the celebration. I didn’t contact you earlier because there was a slight possibility that the meeting would be cancelled altogether. Now I see that I left it for too long and might have inconvenienced you with such a late cancellation. If this is the case, I’m really sorry.
