Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing in response to your advertisement published in today’s edition of the Business Ukraine magazine.
As you can see from my enclosed CV, I have spent the last 5 years working at Orion Company. I joined the branch as an English teacher and trainer for corporate clients after I tendered my resignation following the undue disrespect and patronizing attitude of the former employer. My duties range from developing customized Business English & General English courses to conducting classes and intensive trainings. I am also responsible for carrying out English assessment for the employees and maintaining internal documents, including tracking and reporting on the student’s progress.
Despite the fact that my current position gives me both a tremendous sense of job satisfaction and an attractive remuneration package, I have no inclination to persevere. In light of this, I am now interested in working in a more dynamic IT environment so that I can work my way up to a top manager. Given the experience gained and the necessary managerial as well as interpersonal skills developed, I consider myself well equipped to take up the challenge offered by the post of Language School Receptionist. I also feel I possess the right personal qualities and vast reserves of stamina to meet the demands of the job; I have included in the CV the contact details of my branch manager, who would be pleased to provide you with a character reference.
I am available for interview at any time which might be convenient to you and would be able start work after serving out the fortnight’s notice in my present job.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully
Ira Vovk
