Dear Sir, I am writing this letter in relation to the advertised position of chief conductor at the local orchestra in Sunday times. I have done MS Music from High school music. Apart from the music education degree, I also have a performance degree from Opera music and arts center. In addition, I have hands-on experience of guitar, as I was leading my school's opera. There my main responsibilities center around, to control the ensemble through visible gesture, setting the tempo, shaping the group interpretations and sound, selecting the music for performance. Furthermore, I love to spend my free time, by learning new notes, studying scores and listening to new music as I am very passionate about the music. I believe, my experience makes me a suitable candidate for this job. Please, find my CV attached for your perusal. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to discussing this opportunity further at interview. regards
