Dear Aditi, I can understand that you are very disappointed that I was late for your wedding and I would like to explain myself through this letter. First of all, I am really sorry for being late. I know you wanted be to be there with you from the start to the end. You had a lot of dependency on me and most importantly had certain expectations as we always dreamt of each others weddings. I can’t appologise enough. I would be equally angry if I was in your place. I actually, from the bottom of my heart felt really bad that I missed the beginning of the wedding and that I was not with you on your special day. When I started traveling towards the wedding destinations, there were so many restrictions due to current pandemic situation. I never thought about it and believed that since I got vaccinated, they would allow me to travel without any problems. Anyways, I had to go back home and get all the documents in order to get to the wedding. The security person had several procedures which just added to the delay. Now, that you are happily married, let me know when you have time so that we could look into all those photographs and videos together. Also, I was thinking about catching up on those moments that I missed and talk endlessly about the drama that happened before that day. I hope when we meet, this friendship would be even stronger.
