Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing to apply for the post of a chef at the Sydney Angus restaurant; which was advertised in this month's issue of the company’s newsletter. Having worked in the catering business before, I believe I am qualified and experienced for the position that has become available. As per job description, you are looking for the chef to work over the weekends. It really suits me and I am keen for any new opportunity provided. Given my skills and attitude I am certain that I would be suitable for the offered position. I have been a part of this industry for almost seven years now. Although, I did start as a kitchen hand, I have been promoted several times until reaching the role of assistant pastry chef in my portfolio. I am really festinate that you are looking for a candidate to fill in head chef position and I feel myself fit into the required role.
