The reason for noise is repairs and refurbishing work in our apartment. Recently, we've taken up repair works to fix one of the damaged walls, involving tearing down and reconstructing a new wall. The undertaking does involve noisy activities, in turn causing inconveniences. Please accept my apologies for the discomfort you have experienced over the past few days. I sincerely regret, keeping you uninformed of these actions and preparing you for the noise, prior to the work. I request you to accept my apologies, and provide me with an opportunity to correct myself and allow me make it up to you with corrective actions I assure you, I'll take the required actions on priority and inform the contractors to tone down the repair activities, avoiding further inconveniences. Installing noise absorbing curtains or screens and use of machines during office times will be the next step we take. I look forward to your reply and feedback, if any.
