Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter in connection to the upcoming project of construction of airport in our community. I became cognizant of this important news from our local newspaper and therefore decided to write to you. Although, development of our areas should never be interrupted, however, there are some of the adverse impacts that should not be ignored as well of this particular plan. Firstly, our suburban area is free from any noise or air pollution issue, but presence of airport would, for sure, give birth to such problems. Secondly, it could also not be denied that traffic might cause more hassles to the city dwellers. Moreover, as there is a school at a very short distance from that land of projected airport, it will certainly put children’s life at risk. As a resolution to this, I suggest that the airport should rather be built up on the Derry Road, which is around 20 kilometers away from city. Choosing that area is more likely to be beneficial because it is not too far and not too close from our place.
