Dear Director, I am a resident of the area nearby your office. I am writing this letter to bring in to your notice about a serious environmental hazard. There is garbage placed near my house and we are really very disturbed to see such pollution just beside our home. The people who are behind polluting the neighborhood are living on the left side next to my house. They have been warned by many society members but all in vain. I also tried to have words with them about their behavior and how it is effecting our living area yet they do not want to listen. This garbage is the main source of several diseases as there are various kinds of germs being borned out of it. Besides that we also have to bear pungent smell all around the area. If someone wants to go for a walk they have to use a face mask to avoid the smell of the garbage which leads to lack of fresh air being inhaled directly in your lungs. I want to request you to kindly take a serious notice on this issue. There should be a notice board in the housing areas to use trash bins for garbage and trash collecting trucks can easily take it from there. It would be great if you can send a team to clean the area. And also spread a message over electronic media to keep the neighborhood clean as it will help in preventing spread of germs and diseases.
