Dear Ms. Snyder, I am writing to request time off of work for a week. As you are aware, the last couple of months have been quite hectic due to the new software release planned this week. As a result, I feel heavily worn out and think I need to take some time off and recharge myself. I am planning to go to Iceland on a holiday for 1 week. Therefore, I request you to grant me leave of absence for 5 working days starting from Monday, the 23rd of October to Friday, the 28th of October. During this period, I am completely off the grid and hence will be unreachable.
