Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter regarding an incident that caused me to miss my flight today. As you can see from the flight details attached to this email, my flight travelling to Ho Chi Minh City was scheduled to depart at 3pm this afternoon. However, an unfortunate technical issue happened during my check-in process and I was delayed to arrive at the terminal on time. I was left very disappointed by the fact that the airline did not take the situation into account and still continued the flight as scheduled.
As you may not know, I have a very important meeting expected on the 14th of July. Since I was unable to reach my destination on time and had to cancel the meeting, it created a great deal of inconvenience for my business partner. Therefore, I would like to bring this matter to your attention and have this issue resolved.
As a solution, and because my business partner is still waiting for me in Ho Chi Minh City, I am hoping that the airline will agree to arrange me another flight for free as soon as possible. Otherwise, I would like a full refund along with an apology at the very least and I'm afraid I will have to contact you again if I do not hear back from you within three days.
