Dear Sir or Madam,
I’m writing this letter to inform you about the problem we are facing because of new regulations in parking area near the metro station. The new rule imposed by the council has made almost impossible to park a vehicle around the station.
My name is Bhavesh Janjarkia, I live in 163 Power Avenue, near Chadstone shopping centre, and around 400m away from the Melbourne metro station. According to the new regulation, no one can park their vehicles for more than 2 hours which is inconvenient for us to travel to work by metro because we used to park our cars or motorbikes for entire day. Moreover, reserved parking area for motorbike and cars have created a stressful environment for residents; as people do verbal fight with each other to get the suitable space for them. Furthermore, there are lots of off-street parking areas, as result, there are less space for pedestrian walking.
Could I suggest the best possible solution to avoid these problems? If council forfeits off-street parking permission and provide permission to park people’s vehicles for entire day during weekdays except no parking on weekends, this can improve the situation of parking problem all citizens are facing right now.
Thank you for consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Bhavesh.
