You live in a room in college which you share with another student. You find it very difficult to work there because he or she always has friends visiting. They have parties in the room and sometimes borrow your things without asking you. Write a letter to the Accommodation Officer at the college and ask for a new room next term. You would prefer a single room. Explain your reasons.

Dear Sir/Madame, I am writing this letter to bring to your attention that I'm extremely dissatisfied with the behaviour of my roommate and I would really like for you to change my room next term. I am finding it extremely difficult to study in my room because my roommate always invites her friends over to our room where they play loud music and have parties. If this was a rare occurrence I would not have bothered you with this complaint but has become daily routine for her. To make matters worse, they borrow my stuff without asking and they are never returned to me. I cannot bear this any longer and its my humble request to you to please alot a single room to me in the next term. Yours faithfully, Garima Arora
