Dear Sir/ Madam, I am writing to complain about the issues I am facing at my student residence. I am a resident of the King Edward Hall, room 503 and I am sharing a room with an undergraduate student from the Music faculty. I am highly disappointed with the management decision to accommodate a medical student with a music student in the same room because our field of study demands very different lifestyles. I am a final year medical student currently in the later stages of doing my dissertation and I require a quieter environment to work on the research papers. However, my roommate consistently plays her instruments and often brings friends over to practice with her, which is extremely distracting and have a negative impact on my work. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a furnished studio apartment in another residence for the rest of my stay. If this arrangement is not available, could you please transfer me to a quieter location with a more studious flatmate. I look forward to your favourable response. Yours faithfully, Audrey Raines
