I am one of your customers who had dinner at your restaurant a couple of nights ago. I am
writing to complain about the quality of the food that was served to me during my meal.
You just recently ate at a restaurant, and you were dissatisfied with the food. Write a letter to
the manager. In your letter:
• Introduce yourself
• State what you did not like about the food
• Say what action you wish for the management to take
As a regular customer, I have always loved your clam chowder, which led me to order a bowl of
it when I had dinner at your establishment two days ago. I expected it to be rich and flavorful
but what was served was too watery and did not have that much flavor. It was also very cold
and unappetizing. Apart from this, the T-bone steak I ordered was too tough that it almost had
a rubbery texture. It was definitely overdone as there were burnt edges, resulting in it being
too dry and bland. The dessert was also a nightmare as the crème brulee I was served was too
mushy and rather sweet for my liking.
Because of these circumstances, I would like to request for a full refund for the price I paid for
the meal. In addition, I highly suggest that you re-train your chefs and kitchen staff to improve
the quality of the food you offer. It would also be greatly beneficial if you check the food you
are about to serve to customers before doing so to avoid a similar incident in the future.
