Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to inform you regarding vacating your flat which I rented rented two years ago for a period of 5 years.
Let me explain my situation in more detail so that it refreshes your memory. I am law student enrolled in 5 year dual-degree program at the Queen Mary University of London, and I am currently living at one of your apartment situated at E-5, Second Floor, Ealing Broadway, London, 12W3PJ just opposite to the train Broadway underground train station.
Although this place is one the best area in London, but unfortunately I will have to leave this apartment and place as my university has now shifted their law campus to East London in Mile End, which is quite far from here. I tried exploring quickest public transport options for the East so that, I do not have to leave your beautiful apartment permanently but it seems impposible to me to travel to and from 4 days in a week. I have my annual exams approaching next month and I believe to live near campus library would be much beneficial in order to have easy access to variety of law journals and books.
Would it be feasible for you to terminate our rental agreement in this week? I have almost finalised the place nearby the university campus. I am aware and ready to bear the charges, which will be deducted from the security desposit for permanently vacating the premises before the actual time. I would be forever greatful if you could return the deposit at the earliest because I have to make payment to the other landlord.
I hope you'll pursue my request quickly as I have always been a good tenant during these 2 years at your apartment.
Yours faithfully,
James
