I have immense pleasure writing the letter of recommendation for Mr. Yirgalem Gidey, who was my student. I know him since 2012 when he was a second-year undergraduate student. As a lecturer in the Department of Information Technology at Mekelle University – Mekelle Institute of Technology (MU- MIT) I was his instructor for the following courses: Object-Oriented Programming with C++, Computer Organization and Architecture, Data Communications, Management Information Systems, System Administration. He has performed excellently in all the courses, which testifies to his understanding of the fundamentals of Information Technology. Mr. Yirgalem was among the top-notch students in all my classes of my teaching experience, I was continually stunned by his analytical and logical reasoning skills always as he was meticulous, adroit, disciplined, dependable and self-confident. He was capable of learning in an open, unbiased and determined manner which makes him a perceptive student. In addition to this, I also observed that his accomplishment in designing and implementation of efficient networks and computer systems were of exceptional. Mr. Yirgalem also completed all his student projects on or before time, including Centralized Patient History for Hospitals in his mini project as well as his final year project called Network Administrator Tool using Java, which eventually earned him to score a remarkably high grade. He is innately blessed with cordial but impressive communication skills which he effectively puts to use when coordinating and delegating tasks among his project team members. His communication and interpersonal insight are also beyond par with astounding character and symbolic leadership skills that have benefited him to meritorious work and produce quality results in any group setup. Mr. Yirgalem is enriched with many splendid qualities that I would not pass without sharing here. He is a person of discernment, subtlety, dignity, humility, optimism and a compassionate personality filled with an exhilarating spirit. He has constantly strived to raise himself to the level he is currently, and I consider it my duty to encourage him in his search from further his graduate studies in his chosen field.
