Dear Mr. Johnson, I am writing this letter to request you to issue a new identification card, as my existing student card was missing for the past 2 days. I am a final year engineering student in Computer Science department and regret to inform you, that I have lost my student card at the college premises. I have searched everywhere around the college campus however, I was not able to find it. I need to complete the final phase of my project work and hence, I have to access college library to refer some project related books and to access computer facilities.
