Dear Mr. Martin,
I am an avid reader of your coveted magazine right from my teenager days. Travel and the insights covered about each city/ country would excite me.
In the last month’s issue dated March 31, 2021, I came across the article on “Mumbai”. It covered every minute detail but I found one error which I thought to bring to your notice. It was about the first railway line started by the Britishers. It was mentioned that the line was till Kurla. After verifying the available facts and information, the first railway line was till Thane. The supporting documents for the same are annexed herewith for your reference.
As your magazine is read by millions of people around the world including historians and travel enthusiasts, it should present the information which is factually correct. It is also used by students for their research work. So I thought it’s my responsibility to bring the mistake to your notice.
I would request your magazine to print an addendum in the forthcoming edition to rectify the error. Rest, I would leave the decision with your good-self to correct the mistake in the best possible way.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Mathew
Dear Sir or Madam,
With reference to your advertisement in The Week magazine, Australian Edition, I would like to apply for the said position. I always loved to be around kids because of which I started doing part time job of babysitting. That also helped me support my studies in college.
Because I liked being a babysitter, it helped me decide on my career prospect and I enrolled for Diploma in Child Care from DNU University, New Zealand. I had passed the course with Distinction in 2018. Also to mention, I had completed my apprenticeship in Joy Children’s Hospital, New Zealand in the same year. I can assure you that given a chance to serve, you would have no complaints from me.
I have never visited Australia, so during free time, I would love to explore the tourist places, learn about its culture and pass the learned things to your child.
Further, for your consideration, I am enclosing herewith my Curriculum Vitae. In case you have any questions or need clarity about my experience, you can reach out to me on 99999 00000 or on my e-mail id abc@xyz. com.
Looking forward for a favourable response from your end.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Ms. ABC
